Additionally, 159 dengue patients were hospitalized during this period, with 124 of them from the Barisal division, according to a press release issued by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

With these new cases, the total number of dengue cases this year has risen to 5,570, of which 4,255 are from outside Dhaka.

So far, a total of 5,011 patients have been discharged across the country.

Currently, 5,311 dengue patients are undergoing treatment, including 404 outside Dhaka.
